Dr. Duangkamon Chiranakorn

Dr. Duangkamon Chiranakorn (Thai: พญ.ดวงกมล จิระนคร) has been a plastic surgeon at Yanhee International Hospital since 2018, according to the hospital's English profile of her. Yanhee is a private hospital holding JCI accreditation, located in Bang Phlat, a Bangkok district, at 454 Charansanitwong Road, and she has a profile on both its English and its Thai websites.

On the Thai site her listing appears under two units. One is ศูนย์ศัลยกรรมตกแต่ง, Yanhee's main cosmetic surgery unit. The second unit's Thai title translates roughly as a centre for fixing cosmetic surgery from elsewhere that patients are unhappy with, so it takes on people whose earlier operation at another clinic or hospital has disappointed them. Her Thai profile names this revision unit as her field of expertise (ความชำนาญ), which makes it the most relevant detail on her profile if you are looking for an opinion on earlier surgery that has not gone as you hoped.

The procedures we can link to her, each from a named Yanhee page, fall into four groups:

• Breast: breast augmentation, breast implant revision, breast reduction, breast lift and male breast reduction. Yanhee's English pages on breast reduction and breast lift also carry her name as their medical reviewer.
• Body contouring: tummy tuck, liposuction, thigh lift and arm lift.
• Face, eyelids, nose and chin: facelift, neck lift, double eyelid surgery, under-eye fat bag removal (lower eyelid surgery), rhinoplasty, augmentation (Asian) rhinoplasty and chin augmentation.
• Gender-affirming facial surgery: facial feminization surgery plus reduction of the Adam's apple, covered on this site as tracheal shave; Yanhee's pages for both include her among the surgeons who perform them.

Yanhee's English service pages also name her for breast reconstruction and for Renuvion J-Plasma skin tightening, which this site does not cover as separate procedures.

Her name is on the member list that ThPRS, Thailand's plastic and reconstructive surgery society, publishes itself, and Yanhee gives her languages as Thai and English. ThaiCosmeticSurgery.com is an independent booking service with no ties to Yanhee, and we do not treat patients. Dr. Duangkamon's education is described on two Yanhee profiles. The Thai one names every institution and gives its dates in Buddhist-era years, which we have converted; the English one is shorter and differs on one date, which we point out below.

• Medical degree, 2005: Doctor of Medicine from Prince of Songkla University (มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์). The Thai profile adds that she graduated with second-class honours; the English profile writes the name as 'Prince Songkla University'.
• Plastic surgery training, 2013: Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University. The Thai profile records the resulting qualification as a วุฒิบัตร, in the field it calls สาขาศัลยศาสตร์ตกแต่ง (plastic surgery); the English profile calls it specialty training in plastic and reconstructive surgery.
• ASAN Medical Center, South Korea: an international fellowship in the Department of Plastic Surgery. The Thai profile dates it to 2013, while the English profile's South Korean fellowship is dated 2012.
• Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Taiwan, 2013: an international fellowship at the Craniofacial Center.
• BK Plastic Surgery Hospital, South Korea, 2014: described on the Thai profile as an international fellowship in Korean plastic surgery.

In the Thai system, a doctor receives a วุฒิบัตร, the specialist certificate, on completing an approved residency. Neither profile gives the length or content of the three fellowships abroad, so they show where she spent time rather than what she learned there. If one technique matters to your plan, for example a particular implant pocket or a rib-cartilage nose, it is fair to ask where she trained in it and how regularly she uses it today.

Societies. Where a society publishes its own member records, we look for her name there instead of relying on the hospital:

• ThPRS (The Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons of Thailand): she appears in the member list that ThPRS publishes online. The licence-number field in that entry is shown only as a dash.
• ThSAPS (The Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons of Thailand): she had an entry in the society's old online directory of aesthetic plastic surgeons, captured by the Internet Archive in 2019, and her name is also on a letter list from that directory captured in 2020. The directory's website has since gone offline and ThSAPS publishes no replacement, so this archived record is the latest one we can point to.
• Stated by Yanhee only: four further bodies, namely OSAPS (Oriental Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery), the Medical Association of Thailand under the Royal Patronage, the Medical Council of Thailand and, finally, the Royal College of Surgeons of Thailand. When we searched that college's members, the results did include a plastic surgeon with her English name, but with the Thai surname spelt จิรณกร instead of จิระนคร, so we show that membership as hospital-stated until the college confirms it.

Licence. The Medical Council of Thailand runs an online register, but when our team tried it on 27 September 2026 the site stopped the lookup with a bot-protection screen. We also found no official page that shows her licence number, so our team has not yet confirmed her licence. Anyone can search the register by name. Her English Yanhee profile describes a career spent entirely as a plastic surgeon, in three posts:

• Roi-et Hospital, 2013–2015 (spelt as on the profile), starting in the same year as her Siriraj diploma.
• Bangkok Hospital Pattaya, 2015–2018.
• Yanhee International Hospital, 2018 onwards.

By Yanhee's own count, 18 board-certified plastic surgeons work in its cosmetic surgery service and all of them belong to ThPRS, so she is one of many colleagues there. Her role there reaches into patient information as well as the operating theatre: the English breast reduction and breast lift pages carry her name as medical reviewer, and the male breast reduction page says that she reviews and performs breast reduction, breast lift and male breast reduction.

Our September 2026 search showed no current listing for her at a second hospital or clinic, so Yanhee is the only place we take requests for her. Bangkok Hospital Pattaya and Roi-et Hospital appear here as past posts only.

Clinic days. On 27 September 2026 her English profile gave her hours as 8:00–17:00 on Sunday, Monday and Wednesday through Saturday, with Tuesday as her day off. Rotas change, so our patient team checks the day you want against the hospital's current schedule before you commit to flights.

Case numbers. The Thai profile quotes case totals for each group of operations. Those totals come from the hospital, cannot be checked independently and are not repeated here. At consultation you can still ask how many of your particular operation she does in a typical year, and what share of them correct surgery performed elsewhere.

Every procedure in this section is tied to Dr. Duangkamon by a Yanhee page: either the treatment-experience list (ประสบการณ์ในการรักษา) on her Thai profile, or the block of named surgeons on one of the hospital's English service pages. Those English pages also note that the operating surgeon is only settled at consultation; if it is her you want, name her in your request. The general points under each heading summarise our own procedure guides; what she advises after examining you comes first.

Breast augmentation, breast revision and silicone removal

On her Thai profile these three share one line: breast augmentation, breast revision (แก้ไขหน้าอก) and removal of silicone from the breast (ขูดซิลิโคนหน้าอก). As a rule, breast augmentation enlarges the breasts or evens out their shape using silicone or saline implants, or occasionally the patient's own fat, but an implant by itself will not raise a nipple that sits low. The choices to work through with her include the implant's fill, shape, surface and size, where the scar goes (in the crease below the breast, along the lower border of the areola, or via the armpit) and whether it sits in front of the pectoral muscle or is tucked partly behind it. For an augmentation, most people are advised to plan 7–10 days in Thailand.

Implants wear and the tissues around them change with time, so a second operation at some stage is common. Yanhee's Thai breast revision page presents that service as fixing problems after implant surgery, giving capsular contracture (hardening as scar tissue tightens round the implant) and a 'double bubble' contour as examples. A revision has to work with whatever was done the first time, so the operative report and the implant card from that operation will tell her more than any description.

The phrase 'removal of silicone' on her profile is not explained. It could mean taking implants out, or clearing silicone that was once injected straight into breast tissue, which is a quite different problem needing a different operation. Say plainly which applies to you when you send your request.

Breast reduction and breast lift

These are the operations where her name appears most on Yanhee's English site: she is an available doctor on both service pages and is credited as medical reviewer of both. Generally, a breast reduction lightens the breast by removing some of its tissue, fat and skin, then reshapes what remains and moves the nipple higher. Pain in the neck, shoulders or upper back, grooves from bra straps and rashes beneath the breast are common reasons for it, alongside appearance. A breast lift trims surplus skin and raises the nipple and breast mound without adding much volume. An implant can go in at the same time or later, but combining the two makes the surgery more complex and raises the chance of a later revision compared with doing either alone. The scar may run only round the areola, or add a vertical line down to the fold (the 'lollipop'), or add a horizontal line in the fold as well (the anchor); the more tissue that is moved, the longer the scar tends to be. Both are usually done under general anaesthesia, and 10–14 days in Thailand is the common advice. Mention any plans for a future pregnancy, because the ability to breastfeed can be reduced.

Male breast reduction (gynecomastia surgery)

On Yanhee's male breast reduction page she is both an available doctor and described as someone who reviews and performs the operation. Gynecomastia surgery generally combines liposuction for soft, fatty fullness with excision of firm glandular tissue through a short cut along the lower rim of the areola; skin is taken away only when there is a lot of excess. Enlarged male breast tissue can have causes worth finding first, among them hormonal changes, weight gain, certain medicines, anabolic steroids, alcohol and some medical conditions. Recovery involves a compression vest, typically kept on for several weeks. Our gynecomastia guide puts the usual stay in Thailand at 7–10 days.

Liposuction

Her Thai profile lists liposuction (ดูดไขมัน) in her treatment experience. Liposuction in general contours chosen areas by suctioning fat through a slim cannula passed in via small cuts. Expect a change of shape rather than a lower reading on the scales; slack skin and cellulite are not improved by it. Safety depends heavily on how much fat is taken and how many areas are treated in one session, since larger volumes raise the risk of fluid imbalance, bleeding and clots. Ask her the most she would remove in your case, whether she would split the work into stages, and what clot prevention she plans around your flight home. A stay of 7–10 days is typical, and longer after large-volume or combined work.

Tummy tuck, arm lift and thigh lift

Abdominoplasty (ตัดหน้าท้อง), upper-arm tightening (กระชับท้องแขน) and thigh tightening (กระชับต้นขา) share a line on her Thai profile, while the English thigh lift page on Yanhee's site lists her among the surgeons for that operation. What unites the three is skin that exercise cannot shrink, often left by pregnancy or large weight loss, and scars whose length and position deserve a detailed conversation. A tummy tuck generally trims loose lower-belly skin and fat beneath the belly button, and usually stitches separated stomach muscles back together. Blood clots are a greater concern after it than after most other cosmetic operations, smokers have far more trouble with wound healing, and most surgeons prefer patients to have completed their families and held a steady weight for several months beforehand. Plan on roughly 12–14 days in Thailand. For an arm lift (brachioplasty) or a thigh lift, our pages suggest 10–14 days; ask her whether she would add liposuction, and where exactly the scar would sit with your arms at your sides or in shorts.

Facelift and neck lift

Facelift (ดึงหน้า) and neck lift (ดึงคอ) are both on her Thai list. A facelift in general tightens the deeper layer of the lower face and jawline and then trims excess skin; brow, eyelids and fine surface wrinkling stay much as they were. Approaches range from SMAS and deep-plane techniques to short-scar 'mini' lifts, and a neck lift frequently accompanies it to deal with loose neck skin and visible bands. Her profile does not state a preferred technique, which makes it a good opening question: which approach would she choose for your face, and why that one? The most frequent serious problem is haematoma, where blood pools under the lifted skin. Weakness of a facial nerve (usually temporary), numbness and poor skin healing, which is more frequent in smokers, are among the others. Allowing around 10–14 days in Thailand leaves time for stitch removal and an early review before the flight.

Upper-lid creases and under-eye fat bags

Two eyelid operations appear on her Thai list: ตาสองชั้น, the double eyelid procedure, and ตัดถุงไขมันใต้ตา, cutting away fat bags beneath the eyes. Double eyelid surgery forms a new upper-lid crease or refines an existing one, either by an incisional method or, where the lid suits it, by a stitch-only method whose result may fade sooner. Lower eyelid surgery removes or repositions bulging under-eye fat through a cut just beneath the lashes or from the inner surface of the lid. Before either, expect questions about your vision and about any history of glaucoma, thyroid eye disease or dry eye, and to check whether the lid edge itself droops (ptosis), which calls for a different repair. Going by our eyelid surgery guide, 5–7 days in Thailand usually covers stitch removal. A fresh crease often sits higher than intended at first and settles over the months that follow.

Nose and chin

Yanhee's English service pages list her among the surgeons for rhinoplasty (nose reshaping), for augmentation rhinoplasty (named both on the page about nose implants and on the one about rib cartilage), and for chin augmentation on a page covering chin advancement and chin implants. Rhinoplasty can take down a hump, narrow or refine the nose, or raise a flat bridge. Raising the bridge or tip, the core of Asian rhinoplasty, relies either on cartilage taken from the patient (septum, ear or rib) or on an implant, most often silicone or ePTFE. Ask her how the material she proposes compares on infection risk, how natural it feels and how it holds up over the years. After rhinoplasty, 7–10 days in Thailand is the usual advice, until the splint comes off and she has checked how you are healing. For chin augmentation, ask which of the two approaches on Yanhee's chin page, advancement or an implant, she would choose for your profile; 5–7 days in Thailand is typical.

Facial feminization and tracheal shave

She is named on Yanhee's facial feminization surgery page among the plastic surgeons who perform FFS procedures, and on its Adam's apple shaving (chondrolaryngoplasty) page. Facial feminization surgery is assembled from a menu of procedures matched to the individual face, among them brow and forehead contouring, hairline advancement, feminizing rhinoplasty, reshaping of the jaw and chin, and tracheal shave, carried out together or split across stages. A CT scan often guides the bone work, and anaesthetic risk rises as combined operations get longer. Yanhee names several surgeons for FFS, so ask which elements she would carry out personally and who would do the rest. Under WPATH's eighth Standards of Care there is no fixed hormone prerequisite for facial procedures, yet each hospital can set its own rules, so check Yanhee's. Our FFS guide commonly suggests 10–14 days in Thailand, more after extensive work, and 5–7 days is typical for a tracheal shave on its own. Yanhee also has a Pride Center, whose published services run from psychiatric consultation and hormone therapy to surgical planning and aftercare; her profiles, though, attach her to the plastic surgery and revision units, not to that centre.

Use the first consultation to agree a plan, or to hear why she would advise against one. These questions come from the details, and the gaps, in her published profiles:

• Will she be the operating surgeon? The 'available doctors' lists on Yanhee's service pages carry a note that your surgeon is only confirmed at the consultation. If you are travelling specifically to see Dr. Duangkamon, ask for her to be named on your written plan.
• Her recommendation, and the alternatives. For augmentation: implant type, surface, shape and size, the incision, the pocket, and whether you also need a lift. For a reduction or lift: which scar pattern and why. For the face: which lift technique; for the nose: which material. Ask what she would steer you away from, too.
• Correcting earlier surgery. Given her place in Yanhee's revision unit, ask what she thinks went wrong, what can realistically be improved, whether the old implant or the capsule around it would be removed or exchanged, and whether she would split the work into more than one operation.
• Combined operations. Pairing a tummy tuck with liposuction, or a lift with implants, changes the risk, the time under anaesthesia, the nights in hospital and the days you need in Bangkok. Ask her to spell out each one.
• The quote. Yanhee's package price for most cosmetic procedures, it says, usually covers her fee, medicines, room, nursing care, meals, theatre and other charges. Request an itemised quote in writing and look for what it leaves out: pre-operative tests, compression garments, extra nights or a future revision.
• Follow-up from home. Yanhee describes aftercare by email coordination, with photo updates going to the doctor. Ask whether she looks at the photos herself, how quickly, and what happens if something needs treating in your own country.
• Her experience of your operation. Ask how often she performs it and whether she can show you examples of comparable cases.
• Language. Her profile gives Thai and English. For any other language, Yanhee says interpreters are provided without extra fees; ask for one when the appointment is arranged.

An online first consultation based on photos can sketch out a plan; her in-person examination in Bangkok may still change it.

Because Dr. Duangkamon's only current practice is Yanhee, the hospital handles the practical side of a trip. Its Joint Commission International certificate for the Hospital Program, as shown on Yanhee's own website, covers 13 March 2026 through 12 March 2029, and Yanhee gives its size as 400 beds. Taxi drivers usually find the hospital more easily from its address in Thai script: 454 ถ. จรัญสนิทวงศ์ แขวงบางอ้อ บางพลัด กรุงเทพมหานคร 10700 (in English, 454 Charansanitwong Road, Soi 90, Bang-O, Bangplad, Bangkok 10700).

Services Yanhee lists for patients from abroad, grouped by stage:

• Before you fly: Yanhee offers a free pre-assessment online; an international coordinator looks through what you send.
• On arrival: registration happens at the International Counter (first floor), and the interpreter assigned to you there accompanies you from department to department. Interpreting and translation cost nothing extra, and English-speaking coordinators and staff are posted around the hospital.
• Transport and hotels: Yanhee can arrange airport, hotel and hospital transfers for a fee, and its partner hotels offer reduced rates when booked within a Yanhee package.
• While admitted: someone from the international liaison team calls on you each day, and Yanhee helps with extending your visa if treatment keeps you longer than planned.
• Paying: accepted methods are bank transfer, debit or credit card, and cash (major currencies accepted).
• Leaving: you are given a fit-to-fly certificate, a medical certificate and a discharge summary.
• Back home: follow-up through email coordination, with photo updates sent to the doctor.

Typical time in Thailand. For the operations linked to her, our procedure guides give the common ranges below. She has the final word on when you can fly, and combined operations need extra days.

• 5–7 days: double eyelid surgery, lower eyelid surgery, chin augmentation, tracheal shave
• 7–10 days: breast augmentation, male breast reduction, liposuction, rhinoplasty and augmentation rhinoplasty
• 10–14 days: breast reduction, breast lift, facelift, neck lift, arm lift, thigh lift, facial feminization surgery
• 12–14 days: tummy tuck

Pack the discharge summary and any implant card for your own doctor. After long operations such as a tummy tuck or large-volume liposuction, ask what she recommends against clots on the flight, compression stockings for instance, and arrange for someone else to lift your bags after breast or abdominal surgery. The more precise your request, the more useful the reply. Whichever operation you are considering, include:

• what you want to discuss, and whether you would prefer to meet online or in person;
• when you hope to come, and whether those dates are fixed;
• medical conditions, regular medicines and supplements, allergies, and any smoking or nicotine use;
• past operations, and any bad reaction to anaesthesia;
• the points you would most like her to address.

• Breast augmentation or revision: when and where any earlier breast surgery was done, the operative notes, the implant card (maker, size, type and lot numbers), recent breast imaging reports, and a plain account of what has changed, such as firmness, shape or position. Tell us if silicone or filler was ever injected into your breasts.
• Breast reduction or lift: your current bra size, symptoms such as neck, shoulder or back pain, and whether a pregnancy or breastfeeding is in your plans.
• Male breast reduction: your medicines, any anabolic steroid use, and any tests a doctor has already done to look for a cause.
• Body contouring (liposuction, tummy tuck, arm or thigh lift): what you weigh now and how much that has varied recently, any major weight loss, past pregnancies and whether more are planned.
• Facelift, neck lift or eyelid surgery: previous facial or eyelid surgery, and eye problems such as dry eye, glaucoma, thyroid eye disease or changes in vision.
• Nose or chin: earlier nose surgery or injury, breathing difficulty and allergies. If photos are requested, our rhinoplasty guide suggests taking them in neutral light, from the front, the side and underneath (base view).
• Facial feminization or tracheal shave: the features you want to change, your hormone therapy history where relevant, and reports or scans from past facial surgery. Bone work is often planned from a CT scan.

For a correction of surgery done elsewhere, the operative report outweighs any photograph, because it records what was inserted, removed or moved.
