Fact-checking policy
How we verify provider facts and handle corrections.
Provider facts. A surgeon or hospital appears only when its own hospital pages or an official directory list them. Each fact stores its source address and the date we checked it. Medical Council of Thailand licence numbers and HA Thailand or JCI accreditation have not yet been checked for every provider; a licence or accreditation shows as checked only once confirmed on the official register. Facts we cannot verify are left out, not guessed.
Prices. Price figures come only from providers' own published prices, carry the date observed, and are always labelled as indicative.
Corrections. Reported errors are investigated against sources. Confirmed corrections are made promptly and the page's "last updated" date changes.
Re-verification. Provider profiles are re-verified periodically; the last verification date is shown on each profile.
