What labiaplasty involves
Labiaplasty removes or reshapes tissue of the inner labia, sometimes combined with a clitoral hood reduction. Variation in labia size and shape is normal; the NHS notes that many people who seek labiaplasty have labia within the normal range, so a careful consultation about reasons and expectations comes first.
Techniques
- Trim (edge resection): removes the outer edge of the labia.
- Wedge resection: removes a V-shaped section and preserves the natural edge.

Recovery timeline

Risks
